After my truck has sat overnight and I start it in the morning it starts kind of rough. Then it starts puttering. After it runs for about 30min. or so it tapers off. What could the problem be? I just had a tune-up last year. So, I know it’s not my spark plugs. Could it be my fuel system? How much would it cost to get the problem fixed? Please help I need sound advice.

I realize I’m going from a little eco-box to a little suv. I’d probably want to take it off roading a little, though I realize it really isn’t an off-road vehicle. There’s really nothing wrong with the Focus, other than it is a little small and sometimes I think an 4WD or AWD would make sense during the snowy South Dakota winters.
My buddies all drive Ford F250s, but I don’t want to spend $80 to fill the gas tank every week. The wife wants an minivan, though I think that it would be too big of a vehicle 90% of the time. Plus, I hate the whole minivan soccer mom image.
Right, maybe a bigger car than a CR-V might be better, but what car balances price, fuel economy, reliability, snow/mild off road drivability better?

I just bought a Mk1 Ford Focus but it only came with the master key (no remote fob). How can I tell if it has REMOTE central locking? If it does have remote central locking I will buy a fob and program it myself.

Okay so I locked all the doors to my 1995 Toyota Camry with the passenger side door which I have never done since owning it, then what happens? I go to lock all the doors with my driver side the next time I go to get out of my car and it doesn’t work! The lock on the driver side works when locking all the doors but only works to unlock all the doors when the car is running! Does anyone have experience in this field to where they know what the problem may be?

Hi!

I have a 2001 Silver Honda Accord Coupe LX.
My current problem with my car is that air won’t blow on any other fan setting except full blast. When the air is on full blast, it is not cold air, but rather very dry hot air. (I live in Louisiana and it’s mega hot right now.) I’ve taken it to an auto repair shop and they said it was the “Relay” or “Air blower resister”. The air conditioning worked for a month until it went out again. Advice? Could it be the relay or air blower resister thing? Or is what they are telling me, really is what’s wrong with it, but giving me crap parts? Help. Haha.

It seems like volvos are safe cars, but no one told me that I would have so many problems with other things. No one at the dealership said that my check engine light would come on (all the time) and that I would problems with the stereo and eveything else. Does anyone else notice this problem with their cars or is mine just cursed?

It appears that in a dealship garage the parts dept. is to close to the mechanic. It becomes a replace rather than repair shop.

I personally like Toyota better because I think it’s got great mileage and from what I hear, it never breaks on people or people never really had a problem with Toyota. Hence the reason why people buy them. I think they have great deals too.
